What is a Practice Firm?

The participants (known as Affiliates) hold positions equal to those in a real business and carry the same responsibilities for the success of the business. Practice Firm Affiliates communicate with other Practice Firms by mail, email, telephone and fax on a regular basis, as they would in a real business. ![]() Participants gain hands-on experience in payroll, benefits administration,
human resources, sales, marketing, technical support, computerized graphic
design including web pages, customer service, data entry, word processing,
accounts payable/receivable, purchasing, The only difference between the Practice Firm and a real firm is that all transactions are virtual, no real money or product is exchanged. Although these transactions are virtual, the success of the Practice Firm is based on the accuracy and timely manner in which the transactions are processed; therefore providing a realistic and practical experience for participants.
